King’s Cliffe Environmental Association (KCEA) was established in January 2004 to allocate grants from landfill tax credits arising from the Augean landfill site at King’s Cliffe, near Peterborough. KCEA is a voluntary steering committee of representatives from King’s Cliffe who meet quarterly at Kings Cliffe. KCEA allocates modest funding to community groups wishing to make environmental improvements to public amenities, bio diversity, conservation or heritage projects. Projects within a ten-mile radius of Kings Cliffe landfill site may apply for grants that meet the requirements for eligibility, KCEA is administered under the Landfill Communities Fund by the Environmental Body - South West Environmental Trust.
