Outdoor
The outdoor space extends to 12 acres on the edge of Kings Cliffe overlooking open fields and woodland. There are benches and picnic areas and plans to provide information about wild life, including red kites. It makes a pleasant destination for a walk around Kings Cliffe and is an excellent place for a family outing. There are playgrounds for all ages (3 and above) and no charges to use most of the facilities.
Indoor
The first indoor facilities on the KCA site is a Clubhouse with toilets to come into use in Spring/Summer 2011. However the long term vision is for the Kings Cliffe Active to develop into a community and sports hub for the surrounding NE Northamptonshire area. Ideas being discussed for all age groups include rooms for meetings, exercise/rehearsal studio, health clinic, bowls club, refreshments and even retail outlets.
